I watched this again. It is interesting how Babu just plays silly with the journalist, how Okello is very uncomfortable and how little Karume interacts. I can see why Karume very soon got worried that he would be overwhelmed by Babu. Maybe this all added to the incentive to merge with Tanganyika. The other footage is chilling. Note the few seconds at the end showing the injured waiting in hospital. Thanks
Astute observations indeed Anne! I think the footage reflects Babu's opportunism, and Okello and Karume's unease with their alliance. Interesting to note that the Revolution eventually turned on Babu after Karume was assasinated.
